That's what the spending habits of most Millennials suggest, according to local finance teacher and River Edge dad Luis Gonzalez.
His book -- "Living a Starbucks Lifestyle on a Dunkin’ Donuts Budget" -- aims to help younger generations save money and live their best lives, he said.
"Millennials, broadly defined here as those in their 20s and 30s, want to enjoy the best things in life as much as everyone else," the West New York teacher said.
"Yet, their earning potential is typically less than those of older generations . Frequently saddled with high student loan debt, Millennials need to find ways to live large on a small budget.
Although Gonzalez says it all starts with coffee, his book provides quick-tips and hacks to saving on luxury apartments, hotels, cars, clothing and more.
For example, looking to score a luxury hotel room for less? Stay in the Financial District of New York City, the author said.
"These rooms are typically high-end accommodations catering to business travelers and often go for less during weekends."
